First Bungalow Beach Resort - Chaweng (Koh Samui)

I had a boss time lounging just steps from the beach, and the swim-up pool was dead sound! The only bummer was a bit of noise from nearby guests. a proper relaxing getaway, la!

Really perfectly located hotel. Magnificent location and justified prices for what you get. A short walk to Breezy Restaurant, where you can have lunch. Our room had a sunny balcony.

Phensiri thai restaurant, where you can eat, is short way from the hotel. A wonderful base for exploring Koh Samui. It is in front of the airport: )

The pool area is clean and expansive, stretching about 50 meters, offering plenty of banana lounges for relaxation. The air conditioning in the rooms is efficient and fairly quiet, keeping things comfortable during the heat of the day.

The room lighting is poor was nice, and the decor harkens back to the 1970s with outdated marble floors. Be prepared for inconvenient access to rooms. The breakfast buffet tends to be repetitive and lacks variety, with complaints like watery yogurt surfacing. The beach isn't the cleanest, with unattractive brown sand, and the WiFi service is erratic, with some guests expressing their frustration. The reception area could use a bit more attentiveness. It can feel like you're interrupting their personal moments when you approach them.

The beach area is fine, with crystal-clear water and amazing views, giving a perfect vacation vibe. I enjoyed morning breakfasts on the deck overlooking the gorgeous bay, surrounded by vibrant long-tail boats. The pool was massive and refreshing.

Had a cheap deluxe queen room, which allowed us to enjoy excellent view of the sea. The location was WONDERFUL and fantastic, just next door to rocky beaches. It also was right beside the sea.

We rented a beach bungalow, which met all our expectations (and even beyond !) Waking up, taking a dive and then have breakfast gave us (family with 2 children) a real feeling of being on a bounty island. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast very good. This is absolutely a place to return to.

I had a wonderful solo retreat. The beach bungalows were just steps from the water. Breakfast on the deck had great views with colorful long-tail boats all around. The staff were friendly and always eager to help. I'll definitely be back!

The hot tub outside didn't work. Not to mention, paying for a broken glass was ridiculous for a so-called 'resort.

We stayed three nights, which we had booked from Denmark. We had booked a Seaside Bungalow, which was a mistake, since it's not near the beach at all, but behind the restaurant, and with no view at all. Very professional receptionist, that made it possible for us to upgrade to a Beach Bungalow. They are very small, but the only ones worth staying in, right in front of the fantastic ocean, wake up and go for a swim! The resort is old, but the surroundings are faboulous, you can easily walk to center of Chaweng in 5 minutes. The pool was large and very pleasant, nice food and great massage at the resort! We booked additional four nights, when returning to Samui, at the same bungalow(747), which was the one to stay in. Rent scooters(remember helmets!) very cheap(200THB a day) through the hotel.

Very small and worn out bungalows, but is you can live with that, as we could with two children, don'r hesitate to book.

Chaweng is quite busy, but the hotel is at the end of Chaweng beach. It's a very nice quiet place. The pool is very big!

The restaurant and the poolbar are very expensive. The WiFi is most of the time not working and if it works, it works only in the lobby. Continental breakfast is simpel.
